Our waiting list will be filtered by date of interest registration. We will arrange a private Open House day for parents who are towards the top of the waiting list. Upon availability, parents have three days to complete their enrollment on our app before spots are passed on.

Waiting list status will be updated on a monthly basis or can be checked real time on our app. In case of a waiting list in an active SoiSchool neighborhood, priority of continuing enrollment will be given to existing parents.

Please note that once registered children pass SoiSchool’s age range, their profiles will automatically drop off the waiting list and the spot cannot be replaced by a younger sibling.

SoiSchool does not offer courses. Our learning programs follow the framework from the UK as well as the standard UK academic year but with more flexibility on term type and class frequencies. Instead of courses, we offer a cycle of 12 (half term), 24 (full term) and 60 (yearly) classes depending on the term type.

Parents can choose to pay per term which would cost 500THB per class, or per month which would be 600THB per class.

The children at SoiSchool don’t move on to the next grade like the schools in a traditional system. We keep things flexible and progress with personalization for students. For example, we may provide special add-on programs at SoiCentre to extend the children’s learning. Or, a child may choose to enrol into a different term type / time, which allows them to have a different experience with new classmates.

We promote child-led learning and believe in purposeful play. Therefore, even if the activities are similar or overlap, we aim to facilitate angles of learning that make the educational experience engaging and elevated every time.

We follow the EYFS Framework which is a standard early years curriculum from the UK. Our activities are play-based through the utilisation of loose parts. We also draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach of Italy in terms of art and ateliers experiences. Our active outdoor classes are run in English.

No. We are considered an alternative approach to early years education.

No. English is used as a primary language in SoiSchool classes but we do not heavily focus on the correct use of grammar, spelling, and reading of the language. We help the children develop the ability to achieve communicative skills to confidently express oneself, discuss and ask questions and apply age-appropriate vocabulary in daily conversations.

We may ask the compound on your behalf but the permission is subject to the committees.

No. We are considered an alternative approach to early years education. For a younger age group which is equivalent to K1 to K3, we are similar to a standard international kindergarten. For an older age group which is equivalent to Year 1 to Year 3, we recommend parents consider SoiSchool as an extracurricular first if they would like their children to be academically compatible with the traditional schooling system. We will be offering skill-based and technical programs in addition at SoiCentre to aid academic relevance, but all in all, this is up to the parent's choice.

A healthy community is a means to holistic education. Holistic education is the most beneficial and impactful for young children. Children do not have to go through unhealthy schedules. Instead, by joining a community school, they will get to know their neighbours better and develop relationships with them from a young age. SoiSchool intends to help accommodate educational needs within the community.

We use in the moment observations and qualitative, pictorial evaluation.

For mild to moderate weather conditions, we will prepare children with gears to deal with them. For severe weather conditions, we will cancel those classes, and will let parents keep class credits to use for non-term programs in the future. We will consider doing additional make-up classes for the specific term on a case by case basis, such as when too many classes have inevitably been cancelled within a single term.

For enrolled students:

1. Free use of play spaces; indoor and outdoor
2. Special programs for both students and parents, events and workshops, etc. (May or may not incur additional costs)
3. Book Corner Library – parents can borrow children’s books
4. Cafe for just hanging around and spending free time
5. Day-care service for enrolled students with dedicated caretaker personnel (additional costs)

The line between 6 to 7 years old is not that serious so we can accommodate both according to the parent’s request. However, we do recommend that each child attend their respective age group. We believe this will be most beneficial for the children ultimately.
